Tuscan Animal Pattern 5″ Pitcher with Llama
Montelupo Fiorentino is a municipality of Florence in the region of Tuscany. From the end of the 13th century and throughout the Renaissance, the town was one of the most important centers of ceramics production for all of Europe. The artisans who make the Animal Pattern are among the first groups Bonechi Imports worked with in the early 1980s.
At that time, the artisans made the pattern with six different animals. With suggestions from Bonechi Imports, they now make over 70 animals. Each ceramic pitcher was handcrafted and traditionally painted by the artists. The Animal Pattern pitcher is approximately 5” in height.
