Holmquist Designs

Here are pieces that were handmade by master artisans in Deruta and designed by Maine artist Brita Holmquist. She co-founded Bonechi Imports with Roberto in the early 1980s.

Holmquist has worked with artisans in Deruta to design the Rabbit and Morning Glory patterns as well as an assortment of mug designs. Although they are contemporary designs, each piece is authentic Italian majolica pottery. You can see more of Brita Holmquist’s artwork here.
