Tuscan Animal Pattern Pitcher with Dinosaur
Montelupo Fiorentino is a municipality of Florence in the region of Tuscany. From the end of the 13th century through the Renaissance, the town was one of the most important ceramic production centers for all of Europe. It still is to this day.
The artisans who make the Animal Pattern are among the first groups Bonechi Imports worked with in the early 1980s. At that time, the artisans made the pattern with six different animals. With suggestions from Bonechi, they now make over 70 animals.
This ceramic pitcher was handcrafted and traditionally painted by these artists. This Animal Pattern pitcher is 5” in height. Measurements are approximate.
