Dating back to the 16th century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael. Their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics dating back to the 16th century. This ceramic pair of salt and pepper shakers were handcrafted and classically painted by the artists Ceramiche Sberna in classical Renaissance colors. Please note the items are sold as a pair.
