Deruta Raffaellesco Salt and Pepper with Caddy

Raffaellesco first appeared on Italian pottery in the late 16^th century in the town of Deruta in the Italian region of Umbria.  Artisans were inspired by the dragons on the frescoes painted by Renaissance artist Raphael. This ceramic set of salt and pepper shakers with caddy was handcrafted and painted by artisans Sberna in Deruta.
