Deruta Raffaellesco 11″ Scalloped Dinner Plate

The scalloped border of these Raffaellesco plates offers an unsurpassed elegance. The detailed dragon pattern of Raffaellesco was painted entirely by hand on each plate in Deruta, Italy, where the pattern has its origins. Inspired by the dragons on the frescoes painted by Renaissance artist Raphael, the pattern Raffaellesco originated in the late 16^th century. As is the case with all of our Raffaellesco dinnerware, they are dishwasher safe.
