Deruta Raffaellesco 10″ Scalloped Scodella Bowl
Like all of our scodella bowls, this is a traditional dish for a single serving of pasta or soup. Its shape is that of a shallow bowl or a deep plate. The scalloped bordering of these Raffaellesco pasta bowls offers an elegance that is unsurpassed. Ceramiche Sberna painted the detailed dragon pattern of Raffaellesco entirely by hand on each plate in Deruta, Italy, where the pattern has its origins. Inspired by the dragons on the frescoes painted by Renaissance artist Raphael, the pattern Raffaellesco originated in the late 16th century. As is the case with all of our Raffaellesco dinnerware, this item is dishwasher safe.
The secondary images show the measurement of the scodelle.
