Deruta Galletto Red Cream Pitcher
The Galletto pattern is a modified version of ceramics that came out of the Umbrian town of Orvieto in the 13th century. In the 19th century, centuries after Deruta had become the center of Umbrian ceramics, a rooster was added to the pattern and the leaves were also modernized. As well as being a lovely addition to the pattern, the rooster is said to bring good fortune to the home. This ceramic creamer was handcrafted and painted by artisans of Ceramiche Sberna in Deruta, Italy.
The Galletto Red Cream Pitcher is 3″ in height and can hold 10 oz. Measurements are approximate.
