Deruta Galletto Blue 12″ Serving Bowl
The Galletto pattern is a modified version of ceramics that came out of the Umbrian town of Orvieto in the 13th century. In the 19th century, centuries after Deruta had become the center of Umbrian ceramics, a rooster was added to the pattern and the leaves were also modernized. As well as being a lovely addition to the pattern, the rooster is said to bring good fortune to the home. This ceramic serving bowl was handcrafted and painted by the artisans of Ceramiche Sberna.
The Galletto Blue Medium Serving Bowl is five inches deep with a diameter of twelve inches. Measurements are approximate.
