Tuscan Animal Pattern 8″ Elephant Lamp Base
Montelupo Fiorentino is a municipality of Florence in the region of Tuscany. From the end of the 13th century and throughout the Renaissance, the town was one of the most important ceramics production centers in all of Europe. The artisans who make the Animal Pattern are among the first groups Bonechi Imports worked with in the 1980s.
At that time, the artisans made the pattern with six different animals. With suggestions from Bonechi Imports, they now make over 70 animals. This ceramic lamp base was traditionally handcrafted and painted by the artists.
The Animal Pattern lamp base is 8” in height. It has a width of 7” at its widest point. It has been drilled for wiring. Measurements are approximate.
