Tuscan Girasoli 14” Serving Bowl with white background

Throughout the world, sunflowers, girasoli in Italian, are a symbol with important and profound meaning. Among other things, they represent happiness, loyalty, and adoration. Anyone who has travelled through the Italian countryside in summer has seen the fields of sunflowers, including in Tuscany, where La Ceramica di Elena Ricciardi hand-painted this piece of Italian pottery. Her work comes from the much-loved town of San Gimignano.
