Sicilian Caltagirone 3″ Owl Book Candlestick
This candlestick is such a little treasure, calling back to old libraries and magic. It was handcrafted by artisan Giacomo Alessi in his studio in Caltagirone, Sicily. He is not only a master of his craft, but he is also a scholar in the field.
His work in both majolica and writing has been featured internationally. It is especially cherished in Italy. His Italian ceramics evoke a mythological world of beauty cultivated by the rich Sicilian culture.
