Deruta Ricco Mediterraneo 8″ Bowl

This ceramic bowl This bowl is the perfect size for single servings of soup or pasta. It was handcrafted and painted by the artisans of Ceramiche Sbernain Deruta, Umbria, Italy. Ricco Mediterraneo, sometimes known as Verde, is a modern take on Ricco Deruta, a century-old pattern. Dating back to the sixteenth century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino.  He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century.

The Bowl is two-and-a-quarter inches in height. It is eight inches in diameter. Measurements are approximate.
