Deruta Ricco Blue 5″ Medium Cachepot Planter
This Italian ceramic flower pot was handcrafted and painted by the artisans Sberna in Deruta, Italy. The Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century. This version, sometimes known as Vecchia Deruta, offers the perfect balance for those who love the Ricco design and the color blue. The image shows the planter from the front. This piece does not have a hole for drainage as it can be used as a cachepot. If you would like to use it as a planter, please use the comment section in your order to indicate you would like us to drill a hole.
This flower pot is five-and-a-quarter inches in height and six-and-a-quarter inches in diameter at the rim. Measurements are approximate.
