Deruta Holmquist Morning Glory Blue 12″ Round Serving/Wall Platter

At 12″ in diameter, this charger plate is a good size for a serving platter or dinner plate. It was handcrafted and hand-painted by artists in Deruta in a traditional fashion. Maine artist, Brita Holmquist, has worked closely with Deruta artisans to create designs dear to lovers of more classical Deruta patterns.

The morning glory design was inspired by a porcelain collection belonging to one of Holmquist’s closest friends. It is for this reason that the pattern is sometimes referred to as “Judy.” This piece of Italian ceramics is food safe. It has been drilled to hang as wall decor.
