Deruta Griffin Inkwell
This ceramic ink well was handcrafted and painted by the artisans in Deruta, Umbria, Italy. While quite whimsical on one hand, the griffin adds a decorative stateliness to any study or office. Please note, as hand painted objects, each griffin is a little different from the other, with different patterns at the base and varying order of colors on the wings. An example of the differences can be seen on the two images on this page.
This Deruta Griffin Ink Well is 6 inches in height and 10 inches in length. The opening of the inkwell is a little less than an inch. Measurements are approximate.
