Deruta Galletto Red 7″ Small Rooster Pitcher
The rooster is said to bring good fortune to the home because of a legend about the Medici family in the 15th century in which crowing roosters alerted Giuliano de Medici about the approach of hired assassins. This ceramic rooster, or chicken, pitcher was handcrafted and painted by the artists Ceramiche Sberna in Deruta, Italy. The image of the rooster is not featured on the rooster pitchers.
This Rooster Pitcher is 7″ in height and can hold 14 oz. Measurements are approximate.
