Deruta 4 Place Dinner Set with 11.5″ Dinner Plate & 9.5″ Scodella

This place setting for seating of four would make the perfect wedding gift or gift for yourself! Each piece was handcrafted and hand-painted by Sberna in Deruta, Italy. The black and white background enhances the fruit’s beauty, including lemons, pomegranates, grapes, and apples that are circling the plate. The delicate butterfly is a wonderful accent.

These dishes are dishwasher safe, but please do not put them in an industrial-strength dishwasher nor a microwave. With this purchase, you will receive four 11.5″ dinner plates and four 9.5″ scodelle. Measurements are approximate.

The scodella is traditionally used for soup or pasta. It is like a deep set plate or a shallow bowl. The rim of the scodella is 1.5″ above the ground. It would also be wonderful as a salad plate, or for anything served as a first course.
