Deruta Arabesco Blue 22X9″ Long Oval Serving Platter

With a charming design of a spritely bird in the leaves and flowers, Arabesco is a widely popular ceramic pattern that comes from the town of Deruta in the Italian region of Umbria.  This ceramic platter is traditionally used for serving fish, but it is perfect for most dishes, whether an entree or salad. It was handcrafted and painted by the artists in the traditional fashion inspired by Moorish design dating back to the 17^th century.
