Dating back to the sixteenth century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century. This ceramic bowl was handcrafted and painted by the artists of Labor Deruta. It is food safe for serving and also drilled to hang on a wall.
