According to Italian tradition, to bring a rooster into the home is to bring good fortune. The Galletto pattern embraces this tradition. It is a pattern that originated in the Italian region of Umbria, and it is most commonly found in the ceramics town of Deruta, although it is also associated with Orvieto. This bottle comes with the stainless steel spout and cap. It is perfect for olive oil, especially with the Italian word for oil, "olio" handwritten across the front. The bottle was hand-painted by an artisan in Deruta.
It is approximately 10" tall, including the spout, and can hold approximately 20 oz.
