This Italian ceramic flower pot was handcrafted and painted by the artisans in Deruta, Italy. The Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century. The main image shows the planter from the front. This piece does not have a hole for drainage as it can be used as a cachepot.
