Dating back to the sixteenth century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century. Each ceramic planter was handcrafted and painted by the artists in the classical fashion in traditional Renaissance colors. The images show the planter from the front and the side. One image also shows the three available sizes compared to one another. These cachepots items do not have holes for drainage, but if you would like one in yours please let us know.
