Dating back to the sixteenth century, the Ricco design is heavily influenced by the frescoes of Renaissance artist Pietro Perugino. He was the mentor of Raphael, and their work inspired the patterns of Deruta ceramics that date back to the sixteenth century. This ceramic antipasto dish was handcrafted and painted by the artists in the classical fashion in traditional Renaissance colors. It is a wonderful way of presenting appetizers or hors d'oeuvres.
The Deruta Ricco Blue Antipastiera with Handle is 4" at its highest point and 10" by 10" in length and width.
