This Italian ceramic flower pot was handcrafted and painted by the artisans in Deruta, Italy. With a charming design of a spritely bird in the leaves and flowers, Arabesco is a widely popular ceramic pattern that comes from the town of Deruta in the Italian region of Umbria. It was influenced by Moorish design on pottery dating back to the 17th century. The combination of red and green give this classic pattern a modern twist. The image shows the piece from the front.
