There are some pieces that we bring into the country that defy categories; so here in the Ornamental section, we have done our best to group some of these diverse and extraordinary pieces. They come from all over Italy and are the invention of their creators. We celebrate these artisans for their amazing aesthetic, humor and craftsmanship.

This selection is only a small part of the inventory that R. Bonechi Imports keeps in its barn. If you are able to visit us in person you will not only get to meet the people behind the company, but also the dogs, cats, chickens and ducks that enliven our lives and our photographs.

A word or two about Pigne(pigna-singular). These beautiful objects are the welcome symbol of southern Italy, much as the pineapple is in the USA. They represent a pinecone and are used as finials on gates or more modestly on the balconies of apartments. We suggest that clients use them on mantles or the center of their tables, outside in the summer as garden accents, inside forests at Christmas time, or as lamp bases.
